MY BIO
I started working as a make-up artist in London in 1997. I was trained by the Estee Lauder group and worked at the MAC store on the Kings road. Shortly after, I joined an agency in London and started working almost immediately on various publications, television commercials and catalogues including Vogue UK.
I returned to South Africa and joined my agent, Monopole. I divided my year in two and spent my summers in Cape Town and my winters in London for the following 6 years.
I have had the good fortune of being sponsored by Kanebo cosmetics, Dermalogica skincare as well as Paul Mitchel Hair care products. In return I have endorsed their products in various publications worldwide.
The annual SA Sport’s Illustrated swimwear shoots have taken me to exotic locations ranging from Malaysia to Zanzibar (2003 – 2008). I have also travelled to Spain, Paris, St Tropez, Italy, Greece, New York, Mauritius, Mozambique, Kenya, Seychelles, Madagascar, Ghana etc on photo shoots. Other recent highlights of my career include worldwide campaigns for Body Shop cosmetics summer 2005, Canon worldwide Campaign (2003), Opal Worldwide Campaign (2005), Phillips Worldwide Campaign (2006), Various Yardley Make up and Perfume Campaigns (2004-2006). 46664 Concert (2004), Elton John Concert (2004), Various Aids awareness fashion shows sponsored by MAC UK, (2002-2005), Speedo worldwide campaigns 2005 – 2008 including a campaign shot in Monte Carlo with Amanda Beard and Michael Phelps, Vanity Fair USA (Mark Selliger) in 2008, Cosmopolitan covers 2002 – 2010, etc.
I have also endorsed Revlon cosmetics in a national television show, SA Model of the Year, 2006 – 2008.
I have recently started teaching woman the art of make up both in private sessions as well as group settings.
